Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track is open for School Cross Country and Athletics carnivals and School Sport sessions. The track's all-weather surface and covered grandstand means your athletic carnivals can proceed in most weather conditions.

Athletics equipment, canteen facility, staff meeting room, PA system and off street parking for up to 30 cars is available. Facilities include:

• Fully marked out Cross Country course with 1km / 1.6km and 2km loops
  (Longer races can be created by setting multiple laps)

• High Jump x 2

• Long Jump/Triple Jump x 2

• Shot Put circles x 2

• Discus x 2

• Javelin runway x 1

• Lap Counters

• Relay Batons (set of 8)

• Stop Watches 

• Portable PA System - suitable for the entire ground

• Up to 2 shelters erected for you around the ground (you are welcome to bring more)

We can also manage timing and results for your entire carnival!

• Photo finish timing ensures accurate and efficient results 

• Results and point scores can be processed using our site license for HyTek Meet Manager, which seamlessly compiles qualifying athlete data for progression to City Zone CHS, East Lakes Zone PSSA and Catholic Primary Region

• Experienced Athletics Officials can manage track and field events and timing as requested

Cross Country course - February to April

A fully marked out cross country course can be established from February to April or Term 1. Schools and groups can book the course for training and cross-country carnivals. The course is mixed terrain; including grass, sand, compact mulch and the athletics track. There will be 3 short pinches to break up the course, and hay bale hurdles can be available on request. 

Book a school sport / p.e. session

School sport sessions may be conducted at the facility from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Rates vary depending on student numbers:

• 50 students or less: $60 per hour

• 50-100 students: $80 per hour

• 100 students or more: $100 per hour
